 November 27- December 1

ELA:  We will publish our scarecrow writing. We will begin our sequencing unit.  We will also read Here's My Dollar  in our reading books.  We will have a test on this selection on Thursday, November 30.

Math:  We will begin Module 3.  This module has a heavy emphasis on using multiplication and division, especially through the 9s.  It is very helpful for students to continue with strategies to memorize these facts. Although using count bys and arrays are still appropriate strategies, the numbers will be larger and therefore memorization will be the best route.  We will be working on this in class as well.

Social Studies:  We will learn about conflicts between the early settlers and Native Americans.

Science:  We will begin learning about water habitats.
