ELA:  We will continue reading The Lemonade War.  Students will have a test on Chapters 1-6 on Wednesday.

Math:  We will continue to work with polygons, practicing how to name them based on certain attributes.

Social Studies:  We will continue to learn more about the Civil War.

Science:  We will be learning about heat, conductors, and insulators.

Week of April 17, 2017

ELA:  We have been reading The Lemonade War.  We are comparing and contrasting characters as well as working together to determine the meaning of unfamiliar words and phrases.  Students will take a test on Chapters 1-6 on Wednesday. 

Math:  We are working with polygons, naming them based on their characteristics or attributes.  We will have a quiz on Thursday.  

Social Studies:  We have been  learning about the events leading up to the Civil War.

Science:  We reviewed the changing states of matter.

Gator Games This Friday!

Students are encouraged to bring the following:

• towel
• sunscreen
• hat and/or sunglasses
• bathing suit under clothes
• a change of clothes for later in the day

State Museum Trip

Our field trip to the SC State Museum is set for April 28, 2017.  Please look for permission slips to come home today! Please sign and return these by Friday, April 21.
