ELA:  We will be working more with poetry elements.  We will also continue to review for SC Ready.  We will have a figurative language quiz (idioms, metaphors, and personification) on Thursday May 3.  

Math:  We will continue with Module 6, data analysis.  We will also review for SC Ready.

Science:  We will begin to learn about landforms on Earth.   Students will have a quiz on water features on Tuesday, May 1.

Social Studies:  We will continue learning about the Civil War.

ELA:  We wrapped up our learning about figurative language and began learning about poetry.  We have also been reviewing for SC Ready.  We will have a figurative language quiz (idioms, metaphors, and personification) on Thursday May 3.  

Math:  We wrapped up our learning about fractions.  We also began a new unit on data analysis.

Social Studies:  We began learning about the Civil War.

Science:  We learned about Earth's water features.  Students will have a quiz on these water features on Tuesday, May 1.

Math:  We will have a test on Module 5 (fractions) on Tuesday, April 24.  We will also begin Module 6, which is about data interpretation and graphing.

Social Studies:  We will be learning about the Civil War.

Science:  We will be learning about water features on Earth.

Spring pictures are back!  Please look over your child's spring picture packet.  You have many options!  You can purchase the entire package, part of the package, or you don't have to purchase any at all.  Please send back any pictures you do not want.

Science:  We wrapped up our learning about changes to Earth.
