Water

Students may bring a water bottle to school.  Please send only water, not colored drinks, as it is the easiest to clean and the least damaging to materials that students work with.  

Students may refill the bottle if needed at our water fountain.

Snack

Snacks

Students may bring a small snack if they would like to have at our snack time.  If your child would like a snack, please send one that is quick and isn't messy.  Some great choices would be:

pretzels

apples/apple slices

grapes

crackers

fruit snacks

granola bars

Share Your Selfie

The third grade teachers are encouraging each student to bring a picture of themselves to place on our hallway bulletin board (right outside our classroom). Teachers will help each child create a hashtag that is an adjective that describes the student.  This board will help us get to know all of the other 3rd graders on our hall!

First Week of School

Dear Families,
This week we will be beginning the 2018-2019 school year! It is set to be a wonderful year for sure.  Over the first few days, we will be learning procedures for our school and classroom. We will also be working to build a strong community of learners, a place where your child will feel ready and excited to learn.  Our entire school will also be implementing a program, The Leader in Me, to encourage your children to become strong leaders in all aspects of their lives. 
It's going to be a GREAT week!

Open House

Please plan to attend Lake Carolina Elementary School's Open House on August 20, 2018.  

You can come anytime between 4:30 and 6:00 to see our classroom, drop off supplies, and meet your teacher!
