Looking Forward
Week of November 18

ELA:  We will be publishing our persuasive writing.  We will begin learning nonfiction reading strategies. We will continue to work with synonyms and antonyms as well as begin working with dictionary skills.  We will have a test on Dear Juno on Tuesday.

Math:  We will work to solve word problems using metric measurements in the "story".  We will also begin using a vertical number line and use this as a means to prepare us for estimation in coming lessons.

Social Studies:  We will be reviewing what we have learned about European explorers that came to SC.  We will have a test on this on Friday.

Superhero Principal Sings at LCEU

Students and faculty alike enjoyed a karaoke performance by Mr. Williams during lunch on Halloween.  This was a prize for exceeding our fundraising goal for Boosterthon. Way to go LCEU and thanks, Mr. Williams!
