Math: We continued learning about multiplication and division relationships. We began using www.multiplication.com to help us foster fluency with multiplication facts 0s through the 4s.
Reading: We read Animal Homes and learned more about determining main idea in a reading passage. We used the table model to help us visualize this. Ask you child about the main idea table-the top is the main idea and the legs are the supporting details. We also learned ways to successfully read and comprehend nonfiction works.
Science: We wrapped up our learning about grasslands.
Social Studies: We learned that there are 6 regions in South Carolina and began studying the characteristics of each.
